Job Description
The Abington Club has an indoor pool and outdoor pool. Our peak season is during the summer months between Memorial Day and Labor Day weekend. Throughout the year, we are in need for lifeguards for various events and classes.
Roles and Responsibilities
• Scanning the pool frequently without distraction
• Setup pool deck with umbrellas and chairs neatly
• Cleaning and maintaining the pool deck
• Breakdown of umbrellas at closing time
• Breakdown / placement of chairs when necessary for special events, inclement weather, etc.
• Cell phones are not permitted while on guard duty
Requirements
• American Red Cross Lifeguard certification
• Childcare clearances
• Must be at least 15 years of age
